My name is Matthew Rubendall and I've been making classical guitars for over 20 years, and throughout that time I've developed a respect for craftsmanship.  Simplicity and function executed with an attention to detail are what I strive for in my instruments and my knives. It's that focus on craftsmanship that I try to bring to every knife I make. 

 I make both  traditional Japanese and western styles of knives, and I am also happy to collaborate on custom designs to best suit whatever needs you might have for a cutting tool.
